白色耶誕-祝福大家平安

風雪迎冬，此間兩週來間歇的大雪，打破了自1969以來的紀錄，說「積雪盈尺」並不為過。在此耶誕節前夕，窗外白雪紛飛，pc螢幕上展讀碩二的電子賀卡及碩一的祝福信，心頭特別溫暖。
歲暮年終，面對全球金融海嘯，工廠一家家關門、員工被資遣、失業率升高，前景堪憂且無絲毫好轉跡象，新年要許什麼願呢？新年還需祝福嗎？
回顧過去一年各方面的「亂」，我想「平安就是福」。祝福練功房的夥伴，及來此瀏覽的朋友，一切平安。
「平安」是一種心境，不是燒香拜佛或掛符咒後的等待，而是理解現實的橫逆與困境後的具體行動。清楚環境的困頓，但心情篤定、踏實，不慌不亂，並勇敢以對，以行動解決問題。
97學年度第一學期接近尾聲，相信所上同學這一學期來在各方面都有所成長。碩二這班經歷了資訊實作展的辛苦與煎熬後，愈發成熟懂事，無論在課業、在對學弟妹的照顧等，都展現了擔當大任的氣魄。學期中有回和導師張老師談起，她嘉許班上同學有禮，更稱許修統計課同學的用功，其努力程度超過她教的其他班別；碰到其他幾位兼課老師，不約而同的也都提到你們認真的學習態度。我曾在「實作展感想」一文對你們提出諍言，同樣的，你們優異的表現也要稱讚 You deserve the credit。至於碩一，或許因為參加「暑期戰鬥營」的人少，所以開學時需花多些時間適應所上對課業的要求，但聽說碩一同學愈來愈上軌道，有如倒吃甘蔗，漸入佳境了。在職碩一班，工作忙碌之餘仍不忘進修，顯現你們對專業成長的追求，相信下學期的「研究方法」課，會安排比較大的教室學習。
在景氣低迷中，能專心工作或專心向學，都是相當幸運的，希望大家珍惜，也祝福大家平安！
