「多媒體創作與動畫學程」重大變革

期末事情一波波，但很高興向大家說明「多媒體創作與動畫學程」的重大變革。
本學程在2009年1月趙貞怡所長任內成立，主因是所上老師基於學校是一體的想法，願意將我們在多媒體與動畫方面的經驗向下延伸，為培養本校大學部學生多媒體動畫的實作能力盡心。
感謝大學部同學的支持，學程成立兩年來，每學期都開課，吸引一些學生願意另付學分費修課，是本校少數實質上運作的學程。
然由於大學部開課至少需15人，學程的進階課常因人數不夠而無法開課；常有同學到所辦反應，很擔心在畢業前無法修足學程規定的22個學分，取得學程證明。
本學期以來，所上前後幾次邀請學程的同學及老師討論，研商改進之道。同學表示問題癥結之一是學分費。因本所沒有大學部，故學生修學程課需另繳學分費(1170元/學分)，學程的課每門約2340元。如與坊間電腦補習班的收費相較，本學程開的課，無論質量，可說「物超所值」，然同學修課達一定學分數後，修其他的學程並不需另外付費，相形之下，修本學程是增加負擔。問題之二是22個學分，有點多。
為瞭解修學程的學生以哪些學系為多，所辦作了初步的統計，結果發現學生以數位系、藝設系、資科系、教育系等為多。接著，所上邀請數位系蕭瑛東主任、藝設系郭博州主任、資科系黃聰亮主任，及教育系徐超聖主任與會，本所提出請上述學系為學程協辦單位的構想，且本所採計協辦學系開設與學程相關課程，這樣一來，學程學生最多可有一半的學分(10學分)至協辦學系修習，不需另繳學分費。如此可大大減輕學生的負擔。
在學分數方面，我們也調降為20學分，並將必修課由10學分降為8學分，且新增實習課，讓學生可利用暑假至相關機構獲得實務經驗。
感謝眾位系主任支持上述構想，且在系務會議通過。修正的學程要點通過理學院院務會議後，再於5月11 日教務會議通過，至此完成要點修正的法定程序。教務會議當天語創系顏國明主任、社發系曹治中主任也表達了對本學程的興趣，我們期待下學期兩系加入協辦單位陣容。
此次學程的重大變革，首要感謝協辦的諸位系主任，他們本著「對學生有利」的角度成全此事，借用某主任的話，「這是功德一件」。
所上劍及履及，在6/7- 6/10期間，碩二陳怡涵、許宜茹、簡宇紳、郭佳其四位同學策劃，帶著碩一的學弟妹到協辦學系的大一、大二班級說明。所上並於6/9(週四)舉辦學程說明會，除了有本所趙、崔、劉老師老師講解，也請學程的同學現身說法，談自身的修課經驗，謝謝當天出席的同學。
